The project "Chancenpatenschaften" is hosting regular meetings under the motto "Coffee and Chat Against Loneliness" at the Grand Hotel Café in Augsburg.

Recurring Appointments:• Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6 PM, together with the Thursday of the same week at 2 PM• Every last Tuesday of the month at 6 PM, together with the Thursday of the same week at 2 PM

We invite you and everyone who is either affected by loneliness themselves or would like to engage in a group for lonely people by offering your time and an open ear. This mixed group will meet for coffee and chat at the Grand Hotel Café under the guidance of project coordinator Sina Birling.

We also warmly invite those who are interested in the “Chancenpaten” project and would like to take part in a companion program – either by becoming a companion to someone experiencing loneliness or by looking for one themselves.

• We kindly ask for an open-minded and respectful attitude toward all (participating) individuals, regardless of age, background, gender, beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, etc. (in line with the AGG / General Equal Treatment Act).

• Our conversations are mostly in German, but if you're able to communicate in other ways – for example, in English or with the help of a translator – feel free to try and connect with others during the loneliness get-together.
